For the years 1965-1967, no proof sets or uncirculated mint sets were released by the US Mint. Instead, only these "Special Mint Sets" were released, which had a better-than-circulation-coin strike, but were not proof.

Please note that coins in the 1967 Special Mint Sets have varying levels of cameo. Some or all of the coins in the set may not have a cameo appearance.

Some coins may have toning / haze. Almost all Kennedy Half Dollars in these sets have some amount of haze, at least visible at some angles.

Packaging design and color varies. Boxes may have writing, stickers, or sticker residue. See last photo for examples.
